A Message for Our Grandparents
On this, Catholic Schools’ Week 2021, we are unable to celebrate our cherished grandparents in the usual manner. However, we are asking all families to join with us tomorrow in a virtual celebration of our grandparents.
At any stage tomorrow, we ask you to gather your children together, light a candle and recite the following prayers with them. We then ask that you watch the “Thank You” song for grandparents by clicking on the link below, before maybe following up with a phone call to Granny and Grandad if this is possible.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has been a stressful and anxious time for all of us but especially for our older relatives. Let us keep them in our thoughts today for the wonderful people the are or were, let us pray for their good health or their peaceful rest with God in Heaven.

We hope to make Zoom class calls part of our support to our pupils during school closure. Please read the guide below carefully. Please note that children who cannot participate in a timetabled call will not miss out on tuition, as these calls are for the promotion of well-being for our children, so do not worry if your child cannot connect to the call.

We are using Seesaw in Scoil Fhursa this year as a communication tool between parents and teachers, and to assign classwork during school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Seesaw is a digital portfolio system that allows students to engage in learning activities and share their work with their teacher.
