Our school garden was developed in 2013 with the help of our Parent Association. Work on the garden began early in 2013 and the garden was in full bloom by the summer of that year. The school garden has become an outdoor classroom and all children from Junior Infants to 6th Class work on growing plants and vegetables from seed. Last year our peas won second prize at the annual Banteer Show and our basket of vegetables won third prize. We are very proud of our garden and will continue to watch it grow and develop over the coming years.
